Good news for residents in the St Barnabas ward! Planning has been approved for some tree work at 8A Meadowlands, right on the boundary with Hollybrook Meadows. This means a bit of careful pruning for a sycamore tree, ensuring it stays healthy and happy for everyone to enjoy.

Sited within the rear boundary of the garden with the tree located on the boundary of Hollybrook Meadows. T1 ? Sycamore to reduce the eastern elevation of the crown over 8a The Meadows. Reducing the overextended laterals from 5.5m to 3m, and 5m to 2.5m. Take back to source the first lateral branch on the southern codominant stem. Stem diameter cuts no greater than 50mm. Reduce the height from the top crown from 15m to no less than 10m. heavy lean towards the property, taking some additional weight from the crown. No amenity value lost due to proximity of several other larger established trees.
